Failing is going to be a very economic domino effect. However, it only highlights the structural Greek problems - accountability. Even if they adopt again the drahma they are going to have a surge of prices because of the necessary inflation to reduce the cost of the debt. They will cry a lot – drahma or euro.
They have to rise accountability, they have to get interested in the way economics works, they need to cultivate an ever-growing interest in how the government works with money. We all need to do it.
As Greenpeace puts it – bearing witness to something illegal doesn’t stop it from continuining. We need first to be witnesses and then to do something.
